Plan a Dino-Mite Day at Crown Center

Experience Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice  and many more family fun adventures

April 23, 2026

Looking for an easy (and FREE!) family outing this spring? Head to Crown Center for a prehistoric playdate your kids won’t soon forget.

The interactive Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and IceÔ  exhibit brings the world of dinosaurs to life. It’s perfect for curious kids ages 3 to 10 and their grown-ups.

Step inside and travel back 70 million years to a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Along the way, kids can explore, play and learn through hands-on activities designed to spark imagination and discovery.

What Kids Will Love

  • ðŸĶī Dig like a paleontologist at the Field Research Station, uncovering fossils and watching their creations come to life in a digital terrarium.
  • 🌋 Explore the “Land of Fire,” where kids can buzz through a volcano, wander a swampy bog, and discover where dinosaurs like Triceratops and T-Rex once lived.
  • ❄ïļCool off in the “Land of Ice,” climbing, sliding and hopping through an icy landscape inspired by dinosaurs that lived in colder climates.

Most families spend 30 to 60 minutes inside the Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and IceÔ  exhibit, but you’re welcome to stay and play longer since most kids can’t get enough of dinosaurs!
