Hot Buffalo Chicken Dip (The One Everyone Expects)

If there’s no buffalo chicken dip, people notice. This creamy classic is a football party staple, and using rotisserie or canned chicken keeps prep simple. Keep it warm in a slow cooker, and you’re done.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (or one 12.5 oz can of chicken, drained)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce (Frank's RedHot is my family's choice, but you do you)
  • ½ cup blue cheese dressing (you can change this out for ranch ... if you must)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish, if you want to go fancy

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, dressing, and ¾ cup of cheddar cheese.
  3. Spread the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
  5. Garnish with green onions, if desired. Serve warm, with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers.

Serve with: tortilla chips, celery sticks, crackers, or pretzel bites.
