The Midwest Trust Center invites you to an electrifying new spectacle that takes audiences on a high-flying journey through the magic, thrills, and nostalgia of America’s iconic 1980s amusement parks. See Cirque Mechanics in Tilt! Friday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Bursting with jaw-dropping acrobatics, breathtaking aerial artistry, daring juggling, and inventive mechanical marvels, Tilt! reimagines the park experience through Cirque Mechanics’ signature blend of storytelling and man-powered engineering. The cast hails from the worlds of circus, gymnastics, dance, and clowning from across the United States.

At the heart of the spectacle is an awe-inspiring, giant man-powered Ferris Wheel, surrounded by whimsical, human-driven contraptions that evoke the classic rides and games of the era.

The story follows a weary amusement park worker whose joy for the job has long faded—until a chance encounter changes everything. When he confiscates a guest’s boom box, a playful chase ensues, spiraling into a whirlwind of stunts, surprises, and laughter. What begins as a conflict transforms into a heartfelt connection, reminding everyone that joy and common ground can be found in the most unexpected places.
